Event Description
On May 4th, the Market Square Atrium will be filled with people and fabulous shoes from Manchester Shoe Salon, all to promote good mental health amongst women. This is our second major fundraiser of the year, and it is to support the programs and services offered by Canadian Mental Health Association Saint John Branch. Valerie Pringle will be giving a keynote address at this event, which marks our 4th time hosting. Valerie's daughter, Catherine, suffers from Panic and Anxiety attacks and both Valerie and Catherine have decided that they want to raise their voices about mental health, and specifically, awareness of mental health. Everyone is either directly or indirectly affected by mental health issues, and it's time that we weren't afraid to speak up about it.
Join us. Tickets are on sale now, for $40 each. There will be a raffle, and silent auction at the event and Market Square vendors will be on hand to serve hors d'oeuvres. It promises to be like no other fashion show out there. Call 633-1705 for more information.
