Event Description
Attend the opening night of a new exhibit featuring the artwork of local artist and photographer Jeff Scott. The event will take place at the Cooling Rack Gallery inside SudsMuffin. Original work will be available for viewing. Jeff will also be there to chat and talk about his work.
The exhibit will run from August 6th until August 26th. Visit anytime Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
Artist bio:
Jeff Scott was born and raised in Gander Newfoundland and educated at Memorial University. His love of photography and art grew out of workshops at MUN in the early 1980s. Jeff began teaching art in central Newfoundland in the early 90s and shortly after moved to Saint John New Brunswick to teach at River Valley Middle School in Grand Bay. Presently, Jeff teaches art, drama and computer technology at Simonds High School and is completing a Masters of Education at UNB. He is also an avid musician and has played guitar and drums in bands and stage musicals. Jeff is the owner of and chief photographer with “A Wedding Photo” established in 1996.
