Excuse Me Lord But I Didn’t Hear You
"Well Lord, what have you got to say for yourself ?" Have I got some things to say to you and buddy some of them just might give you a severe case of the blues."
Thus ensues a one sided poetic dialogue with the Lord.
Questions and anger erupt. Humor filters through, poignantly, emotions are rubbed raw all the while waiting for a answer. Waiting to speak to God directly " A face to face is long overdue so God I need a definition from you."
The music and dance numbers give this performance piece added dimension, texture and color. With one intent, to take what is whispered and shout it out with all the subtlety of a jackhammer.
