HARVESTING THE ARTS FESTIVAL

The Harvesting the Arts Festival is a free-admission event for the public featuring local artists, musicians, film-makers, dancers and other local talents for the community to discover. There is something for everyone, whether sampling food from around the globe at the "Food-Alley" or joining the fun at the Children's Activity Centre.

Mission:
This annual event has grown each year, with an estimated 3000 people attending last year. Harvesting the Arts creates buzz for the Arts and Culture community and draws attention to our local merging and consistent artists, musicians and performers. At the same time, the event highlights the many cultures represented in our community by introducing booths such as “henna painting” or “your name in Chinese”. Harvesting the Arts is an out-door event for all-ages.
