DESCRIPTION:The Harvesting the Arts Festival is a free-admission event
  for the public featuring local artists, musicians, film-makers, dance
 rs and other local talents for the community to discover. There is som
 ething for everyone, whether sampling food from around the globe at th
 e \"Food-Alley\" or joining the fun at the Children's Activity Centre.
 \n\nMission:\nThis annual event has grown each year, with an estimated
  3000 people attending last year. Harvesting the Arts creates buzz for
  the Arts and Culture community and draws attention to our local mergi
 ng and consistent artists, musicians and performers. At the same time,
  the event highlights the many cultures represented in our community b
 y introducing booths such as “henna painting” or “your name in C
 hinese”. Harvesting the Arts is an out-door event for all-ages.\nPro
