This Juno Award winning vocalist is setting the jazz world on fire, performing her sultry, soulful, R&B-fuelled brand of jazz at home and around the world. Whether Kellylee Evans is touring with luminaries such as Tony Bennett or standing on her own with her band, she has the power to win audiences over with the first sweet sounds of her voice.

Kellylee Evans continues to evolve her distinct sound with her 2011 Juno Award winning release Nina, a beautiful tribute to one of jazz’s greatest vocalists and pianists, Nina Simone. Evans received accolades for The Good Girl, the alternative-soul pop follow up to the 2006 critically acclaimed urban-jazz debut, fight or flight?, which helped garner the Toronto native Juno Award and Gemini Award nominations in 2007 and a win for Best Female Artist at the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards.

Evans even took second place in the prestigious Thelonius Monk International Jazz Vocals Competition, whose judges included Quincy Jones and Al Jarreau. Her energy-charged live shows have led to opening spots for George Benson, Tony Bennett, Chris Botti, Maceo Parker, and Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings.
