 erloo St.\nWorkplace bullying has many labels but common aspects are r
 epetition and persistence. It consists of offensive, unsafe, unwanted,
  or intimidating behaviors and abuse of power in the workplace. Unreso
 lved bullying escalates and influences workers’ intent to stay in th
 e workplace. Bullying has negative effects on physical, mental, emotio
 nal, social, and financial health and on relationships and careers. Pe
 ople are bullied by both men and women. People are bullied by bosses, 
 co-workers, subordinates, or clients. Bullying takes place in all kind
 s of workplaces. It is important to learn to see and name behaviours a
 s inappropriate so we can stop them. This interactive session explores
  what workplace bullying is, talks about some workplace bullying myths
 , looks at impacts on people and workplaces, and explores ways to begi
 n to address it. Dr. Judy MacIntosh , BN; MSc; PhD has been a professo
 r in the Faculty of Nursing at UNB Fredericton, teaching nursing, doin
 g curriculum development, and conducting research there since 1991. He
 r recent research has been on workplace bullying. She has completed a 
 study of people’s experiences of workplace bullying in NB. All Educa
