Event Description
Attend the opening night of a new exhibit featuring the photography of Roger Lewis. The event will take place at the Cooling Rack Gallery inside SudsMuffin. Original work will be available for viewing and purchasing. Roger will also be there to chat and talk about his work.
The exhibit will run from August 27th until September 17th. Visit anytime Tuesday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm.
Artist bio:
Roger grew up in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia with 6 brothers. He was born with a form of Spina Bifida and confined to a wheelchair but he says his family has never let him use his disability as a reason to be disabled.
Roger moved to Saint John 17 years ago to keep his job. He has done photography for several years now and it has been a great pastime and passion of his. Roger won the 2010 SJ Tourism photo contest and has had his photos published in the 2010 Page-a-Day desk calendar, and Horse & Pony Magazine. He enjoys taking photos of nature, old vehicles, sunsets and life itself! Roger shares that he has some challenges getting some of the photos from the wheelchair but that he never lets that stop him. Roger is putting Ability in Photobility.
