Women of any age who love to sing and can carry a tune, are invited to come and share the FUN of a cappella harmony! New members are always welcome, but we'd especially like to meet you at one of our September Tuesday rehearsals. I agree completely! Moncton may be the hub, but Saint John is far more advanced (I think) technologically and much more social. We bring part of the world into our harbour every summer and are just an hour and a half from the US border. I think it's just a matter of time, the need is there, the potential is there and now thanks to proud Saint Johners who will work hard to make it happen, I think we can put Saint John back on the map, in a way it hasn't been since it's shipbuilding glory days.

Until January 4, 2015: 1812: The New Brunswick Story exhibition at the New Brunswick Museum. Until January 4, 2015: The Lost War: 1776-1783 exhibition at the New Brunswick Museum. New Brunswick was created out of the western portion of Nova Scotia in 1784 as a result of the American War of Independence. Many had opposed rebellion. More than 500,000 of these Tories or Loyalists existed at one time or another but most chose to remain part of American society. For others, at least 60,000, exile was the only alternative.
