Sea Belles, a ladies a cappella chorus, will soon begin their regular Tuesday evening practices, starting September 10, 2013 at 7pm at Forest Hills Elementary School. Women of any age who love to sing and can carry a tune, are invited to come and share the FUN of a cappella harmony! New members are always welcome, but we'd especially like to meet you at one of our September Tuesday rehearsals. But please let us know you're coming by contacting Vangie at 633-1811.  We're just “Ordinary Women making Extraordinary music!” and we want YOU to share your voice with Sea Belles Chorus! More info on chorus at www.seabelles.ca or facebook page.

October 29, 2014 at 9am to January 4, 2015 at 5pm
Until January 4, 2015: 1812: The New Brunswick Story exhibition at the New Brunswick Museum. On June 18, 1812 the United States declared war on Britain and placed His Majesty’s colonies in British North America (now Canada) in peril. The Lost War: 1776-1783 - exhibition at the New Brunswick Museum at New Brunswick Museum, 1 Market Square, Saint John, NB, E2L4Z6

More than 500,000 of these Tories or Loyalists existed at one time or another but most chose to remain part of American society. For others, at least 60,000, exile was the only alternative. In 1783, over 30,000 boarded vessels in New York for Nova Scotia and…See More

The exhibition is the further development of artistic concepts first shown at the NBM in 2011. In the original exhibition, Carol Taylor conceived of Future Fossils as artworks that considered the continuum of geological processes in combination with vestiges of human presence. An aspect of her inquiry was inspired by a group of…See More
