Kids "n" Karts

The first annual 'Kids & Karts' go-cart race was held in uptown Saint John on June 20. This very exciting event showcased custom built go-carts racing down King Street with spectators gasping at the speed, techniques, and unique design of karts. A fire-engine red stock-car roared up and down the street marking the beginning of the race and pumping the racers up for the thrill.

Some stores and companies in uptown decorated their windows to celebrate Canada's 143th birthday.
