Festive performances for the whole family!

Imperial Theatre is celebrating the season with a string of family friendly performances that will brighten your holiday festivities. This year, Imperial Theatre presents four wonderful performances: two pre-holiday concerts by The Celtic Tenors and The Barra MacNeils, and two wonderful post-Christmas wrap-up performances by DuffleBag Theatre. From Celtic favourites to laugh-out-loud silliness, Imperial Theatre offers a warm and inviting get-away from the hustle and bustle, and an opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Christmas with friends and family.

Kick off the holidays with The Celtic Tenors Christmas, featuring a festive blend of seasonal favourites such as O Holy Night and Silent Night and traditional Irish tunes such as The Irish Rover and Paddy McGinty. Known around the globe for their eclectic mix of Irish, pop, folk and classical songs, The Celtic Tenors’ soaring voices are sure to warm the heart with holiday spirit!

Barra MacNeil Christmas: Friday, December 17 at 8 p.m.

Nothing says the holidays like a family gathering, and when that family is Cape Breton’s Barra MacNeils, you can add a roaring musical time to the mix! One of the country’s best loved Celtic groups, The Barra MacNeils take the stage for an uplifting performance featuring classic holiday songs, traditional favourites and plenty of MacNeil charm!

DuffleBag Theatre’s unique and sidesplitting performances are a wonderful wrap-up to the holidays for the entire family! Enjoy these classic tales with comic twists, thanks to interactive performances that star members of the audience. Picture it: you’re sitting in the audience enjoying the play, when all of a sudden the show comes to a halt ... they need a star and that star is you! With unique, engaging and hilarious results, DuffleBag Theatre’s topsy-turvy performances have become a holiday tradition for families for almost a decade, so why not join in on the fun too!
Single Ticket Price: $15 each. Babes 12-months and under are welcome to these family events without a ticket.
