Where were you born?

Good Old Saint John , NB
My Mother is From Chipman, NB and my Father is from Port Said, Egypt.

Do you have any formal training?

I attended Classes with Lorena Robertson at the Studio Dance school in Rothesay, as an adult have taken a jazz/ballet class and attend workshops with professional Bellydancers whenever I can, I am currently in Atlantic Yoga Teacher Training and will graduate in July!

What was your breakthrough moment/favourite performance?

we had a really great time at Harvesting the Arts Festival 2009- it was a beautifull day for dancing outside! We have a project called The Zingaro Quartet with Live Drummer, Violin and Bouzouki...and I dance..of course...

Where do you work?...and for how long?

I'm a stay at home mum, My daughter is almost 2 . I teach Yoga and Bellydance.....at commnity centers and at the Human Performance Center Gym in Grand Bay-Westfield , I'm hoping to find a nice studio uptown too.....

What do you like best about uptown Saint John?

The brick buildings

Favorite Musician: Antonia Munro- on Violins- I'm lucky enough to have her as a teacher and friend - she's a total rock star go to her for violin lessons!!

Favorite Dancers : Elizabeth Strong and Rachel Brice!

Melodia Yoga pants....it's not very secret though...

Do you have any pets?

a husband ....hehe

What do you like to eat for breakfast?

Quinoa,Yogurt & blueberries!

Nice fresh water or Mojitos!
